Q: What divisions are there?
A: Players are assigned to teams according to age and gender (except for Pee Wee). We have 7 divisions: Pee Wee, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, and the High School division. All divisions will play “in house”, meaning that all their games will be at Regional Park and teams will compete against the same kids in the Miramar PAL program.
Peewee-U12 Games are Saturdays; U14-High School Games are Weeknights and Saturdays

Q: What are the age requirements?
A: Players must be born on or before 12/31/2022.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: $165 for Miramar residents, $193 for non-residents. $20 late fee will be applied after November 30th.

Q: Can I request a specific coach?
A: Coaches are allowed their own son or daughter on the team and three additional freezes. All other players will be randomly assigned by system.
Q When will I receive a uniform?
A: Uniforms will be distributed by the coaches at practice one week before games begin. It is mandatory that every child bring their own ball and shin guards.
Q: When is practice?
A: Practices will begin in January as soon as the football season is completed (no specific date is available). Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach. Volunteer coaches are always needed, please sign-up on the registration form as soon as possible. Practices are during the week and take place at 6:00p.m. or later (no Pee Wee practices will be held after 7:30pm). Pee Wee and U6 divisions practice once a week, while all other divisions practice twice a week. You may not choose which days you want for practice; we have over 1000 players in our program, and we are unable to accommodate everyone’s schedule-we apologize for the inconvenience.
Volunteer coaches are always needed, please sign-up on the registration form as soon as possible.
Q: What happens at the end of the season?
A: After the season is completed, we will distribute trophies at Regional Park (date TBA)
Q: What is the process of becoming a coach and practicing with a team?
A: All coaches are volunteers. They come to our coaches meeting and select a practice time. After the players have been entered into our database and distributed to a team, we email the coach a roster consisting of the players’ names and phone numbers. Coaches then call the player’s parents at their earliest convenience during the month of December and inform them of their practice time and location. Teams will use the same practice field during the entire season (unless otherwise notified). Please get your coaches full name and cell phone in order to better locate him/her on the field. Most coaches meet at the concession stand for their first practice. We have over 1000 players and cannot accommodate changes regarding practice times. Please note that December 31st is the last day for refunds.
Q: Does Miramar PAL have specific rules for required playing time and parent/coach accountability?
A: Yes, regardless of a player’s ability, each coach is required to play every player a designated amount of time (see Rules & Procedure flyer). We encourage both novice and advanced players to register. To run a safe and enjoyable program, any parent, player, or coach that shows disrespect towards the referees or others will be reprimanded and possibly suspended.

A: Yes, we encourage parents to register for both programs. There may occasionally be a conflict with practice times but there will never be a basketball game scheduled at the same time as a soccer game.
Both programs welcome novice and advanced players. We recommend having an open and flexible schedule to accommodate the league scheduling.

Games are played weeknights and Saturdays inside the gym. Indoor Soccer is played with a heavier ball that has less bounce and focuses more on ball handling and passing techniques than outdoor soccer. Please research “Futsal” to find out more about the playing style of this type of program.
We break up our teams according to age (all divisions are co-ed.). We have 3 Indoor Soccer divisions; 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12’s. Each team will play a minimum of 6 games (not including playoffs). 2024 12-14 BASKETBALL REGISTRATION

- Fill out all information for the parent and child.
- Programs will be available for your child click and answer the following questions.
- Please upload birth certificate/ passport and proof of residency.
- Submit online payment.

2024 Fall Basketball (Ages 12-14)
Parents and players,
12-14 Division (East Miramar and West Miramar locations available)
6 game Basketball League (not including playoffs) Starting in October and ending in December
Practices are determined by coaches. A detailed schedule will be provided after the teams are formed.
After the discount for the first 20 players: $135.00 for Miramar Residents or $163 for non-residents.
This is the total cost of the league and includes the uniform.
If you are interested in being a HEAD COACH and getting your child into the league, please stop by the facility and register in person. Please note that we discount registration for a head coach’s child to ONLY $50. This includes the uniform and is the total cost of the league. Please bring a copy of the player’s birth certificate and let the staff know you would like to register your child and be the head coach of their team. Staff will provide a paper registration to complete. Please submit a check or money order only (cash or credit cards will not be accepted). Details about the league can be found on the Q&A posted in the downloads section of our website (MiramarPAL.org) and a link is provided below. Please let us know if you would like additional details about being a coach before volunteering.

Coach Price: Registration for players whose parent is volunteering to be the HEAD COACH of a team are discounted to ONLY $50 (only 1 head coach per team). Please contact us directly by email to get the discount at registration.

Please complete the online registration for the location where you wish to play. If your location or age group is not listed, it is because the division is at capacity. Please double check the location that you wish to play at, players will not be switched if a mistake is made. Refunds must be requested prior to the draft.
